Meet Dr. Khorsandi

Throughout his career, Dr. Khorsandi has always strived to achieve success. He attended Temple University School of Medicine where he began to develop an interest in plastic surgery. During his time at the University, Dr. Khorsandi managed to start a student chapter of Operation Smile, performed several early elective rotations in plastic surgery and served as a research assistant to the Chairman of Plastic Surgery at the School. In addition, he was also accepted to the combined B.S. and M.D programs at the Villanova University.

After medical school, Dr. Khorsandi trained at the prestigious University of Pennsylvania General Surgery, which offered an Ivy League Surgery program that only selects 6 qualified candidates from a pool of more than 1000 accomplished medical students each year. During his training, Dr. Khorsandi’s had the privilege of working at the Pennsylvania Hospital, which was the country’s first hospital, originally established by Benjamin Franklin. He joined the ranks of other medical luminaries such as Thomas Bond, C. Everett Koop and William Physick who were former resident physicians at the hospital. His training also took to him to the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) and the University Hospital of Pennsylvania. These two institutions are consistently ranked as the country’s best medical institutions by world reports and US news. During his time at these hospitals, Dr. Khorsandi managed to gain a lot of experience which provided him with the basic fundamentals for his medical career.

Dr. Khorsandi’s hard work and academic accomplishments led him to be accepted into the Plastic and Reconstructive Training Program offered by the Cleveland Clinic in Weston. During his two years at the school, he managed to refine his skills in Plastic, Hand and Reconstructive Surgery, and even managed to become the program’s Chief Resident. In addition to all these achievements, he co-authored a text chapter on wound healing and continues to work on several research projects in the field of plastic surgery.

To further his skills, Dr.Khorsandi went to the advanced Aesthetic Fellowship located in Beverly Hills, where he learned to perform some of the most complicated types of surgery. From there, he went for further training in peripheral nerve reconstructive surgery and minimally invasive hand surgery. Over the past few years, Dr. Khorsandi has continued to pursue training in ground-breaking Migraine Surgery techniques.

Dr. Khorandi currently performs a wide range of procedures, some of which include facelift surgery, tummy tuck, rhinoplasty, makeover procedures, cosmetic breast augmentation, reconstructive plastic surgery and revision plastic surgery. All of his patients come from different parts of the country. He is known to be caring and compassionate.
